Sea Monsters 3D (*½)

*½ Out of ****
Since this is not really a film, and only a short documentary to boot, I will not spend too much time on this review.
Following the life arching story of a dolphin-type underwater dinosaur, the documentary takes no time trying to reinforce the Evolutionist’s belief that the earth is millions of years old. I am a Creationist, and thus got lost in the story, or rather, the story lost me.
Trying to make the creature something endearing failed dismally too. Imagine if you will, a documentary following a T-Rex, whom the filmmakers call Rexy. Rexy gets injured and now the viewer “must” feel sorry for him. Do you see my point?
The 3D animation is impressive, but again succumbs to the unfortunate use of 3D. Throwing things at the audience is not optimal for this format; use it as a tool in telling the story.
That then, is my view on the very flawed scientific fact presented here in the form of a badly written, overly dramatised, animal drama.
